Where Did the Time Go?

For last week, I focused on completing my first draft of my resume and writing my second research assessment. In regards to the resume, I learned more about the information I had to include in my resume by doing the resume choice board assignment. The choice board assignment had many sources like videos and articles that explained how to write a resume, and for the assignment, I was required to take a look at 4 of those sources while noting down what I learned. After obtaining viable information about formatting the resume, I used a Canva template and manipulated the format to make sure it was easy to read. The most important aspect I learned about building a resume as a teenager is to keep everything short. Professionals are not interested in hearing all the little details associated with a teenager since they are not as experienced. To catch the attention of a professional, I had to show everything I could do fast or else they would not care. While completing my resume for the first time was difficult, my main conflict of the week was time management. Since it was a short week from the four-day weekend, I had an interesting time figuring out how to finish everything on time. I had originally planned to finish annotating the article for the research assessment and fix the template for the resume in class which I thankfully did. However, I was left to finish writing the assessment and filling in the resume, so I left the entire Friday open to finish this which was enough time. Unfortunately, I slept after school Friday which usually does not happen, and this pushed back my whole schedule. I now understand that I should always take my wellbeing into account when it comes to whether I can finish an assignment or not. Also, I will make sure that I never leave the assignment for Friday night to prevent me from rushing late night on my assignments like I did before.
