Through my independent study on a specific career topic, I want to learn more information regarding my topic of interest so that I can choose my future career path. With the ISM program, not only will I better understand the career path I desire to take but I will also have personal workforce experiences and connections set up with professionals in my field. The guidance of my mentor will enhance my knowledge of this career field and help me decide whether this path is the one I want to take in the future. While there will be challenges when I venture through the workforce and this program, I will improve my current abilities and expand my skill set.
