Continuing Interviews

My entire focus this week was on interviewing professionals and seeing if they could be mentors for me. I was also working on the final product proposal. With my interviews, I met with two different professionals. One was in person which was my first in person interview. It was exciting as well as nerve wracking to go for an in person interview. I had to remember a lot of the different mannerisms and also make sure to dress completely professional. It was challenging getting ready for this interview since I needed to make a lot of new questions for my questionnaire. I wanted new questions that would give me research for my final product as well as properly ask about unique experiences and job services of the specific professional. The interview went well and I had gotten a lot of good and helpful information. With my next interview, it was my first interview over a call rather than zoom for a virtual meeting. This professional was also the first psychologist I have interviewed with. I was excited to meet with my first psychologist. With this interview, I found a lot of different and interesting information that could contrast with my other research. Even though I was not able to find a mentor through these interviews this week, I am grateful that I was able to expand my professional network.
